Arundhati at the races app
Arundhati was the first to develop her day at the races app. Students were challenged to develop an app where the user could choose a horse and the app races them to a finish line. If you chose correctly then you win. Well done Arundhati!
Year 9 Entrance students finishing off their lights
Here are a few of our yr9 students with their fabulous lights. They’ve worked really hard to complete them to a high standard. Each student had to construct a light that included a base that they found. The genuine design problems they faced as a result have been a great learning experience and generated some really novel designs. Well done!!

All could be applied to the entries for the junior Masterchef. A really vibrant and energetic lunchtime saw 12 teams compete to get through to the next round with their responses to the stir fry brief. It’s amazing to think that Ben I. This limited time students from as young as year 8 can create full meals to a high standard. One team even got full marks from the sixth form judges. Thanks to all involved and come back her to see the results of the next round where the representatives for the inter ESF competition will be decided.

App Design Week 3
After a couple of weeks of getting around technical issues and learning some basics, the first cohort of app designers take on their first app challenge – to build a simple teaching app for 2 year olds.
