Animation week 2
This week we got stuck into setting up computer with cameras and trying out the Jellycam stop motion software.
The students were challenged in the first original piece to “Create Magic”.

Magic of Animation Week 1
Students have started this course by looking at the development of the moving image through time. The first session involves constructing a zoetrope, an old Victorian toy, that helps show the process of animation as well as gets the students to egg to grips with some of the limitations and practicalities of moving image work. Below are a few of the “films” that they developed.
