2017 Elements Animators Get to Work with Ink and Brush
After significant disruption to the start of the Elements year thanks to 2 typhoons the Elements animators finally got a chance to work on their first creative project using Ink and Brush as the medium. This abstract exercise is there to practice easing – the slow in and slow out principle of animation that is a starting point for students to consider the nature of movement. This is very much a piece of free expression and at the end of the session all the students’ work is put together into a show reel which is below. Watch out for some beautiful flow at 14- 22 seconds and again at 30 seconds in. Enjoy!!
