Senior Masterchef First Round – Winner Ayesha Shahani (12W)
February 1, 2016 Chris LordLast Friday saw the food department kick off the ESF Masterchef for the seniors. They were challenged to make a dish suitable to be served in a coffee shop, giving them plenty of room to be creative. There was a really good mix of savoury and sweet dishes, but the judges were all unanimous that Ayesha’s Fruit tart was the outstanding dish . In a close 2nd place was Claudia Lau with her Brushetta 3 ways Also going to the semi final in joint 3rd place is Chloe Chau and Brita Cheung and in 5th place Hitesh Hemnani

IS Masterchef – Juniors Round 1
January 25, 2016 Chris LordWell done to Jenny Wang and Valerie Lee from Rutherford who were the first rounf winners of this years Masterchef. they were challenged to make a coffee shop prtoduct in 45mins and managed ro make a red velvet cake and ice-cream. Well done to all the students involved as it was a very close competition. Also making it through to the next round is: 2nd Place – Pippa Yu and Audrey Lai (R) 3rd – Marie Brendal & Janice Chin.
