Elements-Wearable Art week 3

This is the second workshop with Alanna Emmerton- today the students are looking at illustration and design. using fashion magazines and fabric swatches to come up with original designs inspired by the fabrics and photography!

Today we are fortunate to have Alanna Emmerton run an exciting workshop with the students- she is also an alumni of Island school and a fashion design graduate of Edinburgh College of Art !

This was the first lesson where the students were given plastic / paper /the use of a sewing machine and their imagination! Working in small groups and these are the outcomes!
