In the first week of sweet indulgence students learnt about how sugar was made/processed, the different types and the negative consequences of eating too much sugar. Taste testing was also done to find the favorite types of sweets and I showed pupils how to make honeycomb/cinder toffee.

In this 2nd week, pupil got the opportunity to make their own fudge and we saw some inserting flavors; Coconut and popcorn, Marshmallow and crackers, peanut butter, chocolate orange and Oreo. Pupils also had to brand their fudge by decorating a blank net and work out how many calories there is the fudge, using a nutrition program.

This was all finished off with a demonstration on spun sugar and sugar work, to wow the students
